Broilers
Broilers are chickens specifically raised for meat production. They grow quickly and are usually ready for market within 6–8 weeks. Broiler farming focuses on rapid weight gain, proper nutrition, and disease prevention to ensure high-quality, tender meat.
Layers
Layers are chickens bred and raised for egg production. They start laying eggs around 18–20 weeks of age and can produce eggs consistently for up to 18 months. Layer farming emphasizes balanced feeding, and health management to maintain consistent egg yield.
